Ehlers Danlos Awareness Week 2021

I/YOU was created as an autobiographic scenographic installation exploring the effects of Ehlers Danlos Syndrome on me, and creating an intimate atmosphere that confronts the audience with the daily struggles that aren’t often invisible to the outside world.

The puppet was designed and sewn using sustainable fabrics. The use of yarn was intended to create unstable and often strained joins between the pieces, thus creating a visual metaphor for the way that connective tissue disorders affect the internal body.
